CueUp Support

CueUp is built and maintained by Curiola Pty Ltd. It runs entirely on your phone — there is no account to recover and no server to be down. Most things you might want to know are covered below; if not, email us.

Getting started

On first launch, tap "Start the tutorial". It creates a one-minute, four-beat project that tells you what to press as you read it: record each beat, fire the cues, open Review, then Export. The graduation-cap button in the library replays the welcome at any time.

To make your own video, tap New project, write your script on the Script tab — "# Title" names the video and each "## Heading" starts a beat — then tap Studio.

Script cues

Cues are written as fenced blocks inside a beat, for example a call-to-action card:

:::{card preset="cta"}

:::

Other cues: card (with position, animation, colours), overlay and fullscreen (an image you import on the Assets tab), note (private, shown only in the prompter) and clear. Press Next cue while recording to fire them in order. Have a script in another format? The AI prompt button on the Script tab copies conversion instructions you can paste into any AI chat — CueUp itself never contacts an AI.

Common questions

Is the teleprompter recorded? — No. The prompter, notes and controls are never part of the video. Only the cues you fire are drawn into the export.

I fluffed one line. Do I need to re-record everything? — No. Retake just that beat from the Studio or from Review; every other beat keeps its selected take.

What does the unlock do? — Everything in CueUp is free. Videos exported from the free version carry a small "Made with CueUp" mark in the top corner. The one-off unlock removes it from every new export. Export again to get a clean copy of an earlier video.

I bought the unlock on another phone — how do I get it here? — Open About (the ⓘ in the library) and tap Restore purchase, using the same Apple ID or Google account.

Where are my projects stored? — In the app's private storage on your phone. They never leave it unless you share an export. Uninstalling the app deletes them, so save or share any video you want to keep first.

Does CueUp need the internet? — No. It works fully offline. Only the purchase and restore talk to the App Store or Google Play.
